Memory Loss Navigation Services Policies:

One-on-one Memory Loss Navigation Services are provided virtually, via phone, or in the home (on a case by case basis).


FINANCIAL POLICY:
Payment for Memory Loss Navigation Services, including initial sessions and packages, are due at the time of booking. We accept debit and credit cards. Should session time exceed the initially requested service time, additional time will be billed on the quarter-hour. 

CANCELLATION AND ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Cancellations and reschedules should be communicated via phone or email no less than 48 hours before the scheduled consult time. No-show appointments and non-emergency cancellations made less than 48-hours in advance will be not be refunded or rolled over to another appointment time. Payment is due at the time of booking unless you have purchased a package. The Memory Compass, LLC reserves the right to discontinue services if more than 3 sessions in a row are canceled. It is very important that you are on time for your session. If you are late to your appointment we do not refund missed time or add-on additional time.

Memory Loss Navigation Services by The Memory Compass, LLC does not include the medical treatment or diagnosis of disorders. Memory Loss Navigation Services are not therapy sessions and are therefore not reimbursable by insurance. While wellness, education, coaching, and counseling can be an important complement to the client's medical care, the client/responsible party understands that these services are not a substitute for the diagnosis, treatment, or care of disease by the client's healthcare team, defined as physician, registered nurse, or other credentialed/qualified members. It is with the understanding that consultation services will not maintain or improve memory function. Screening tools used do not take the place of comprehensive neuropsychiatric testing, which is always highly recommended.
