No, we do not provide therapy services. Although Jessie Hillock has a background as a speech-language pathologist, she would be working with you acting in a different role as your dementia navigation coach & consultant.
Our services complement the care you are receiving from other healthcare providers and often are referred to by our clients as the "missing link" in direction and support filling in the gaps where our traditional healthcare system sometimes drops off. The Memory Compass has been in business for four years and continues to serve some of our same original clients across their or their loved one's continuum of care which may have started when their loved one was living at home and then transitioned to in-home with in-home companion care, then assisted living, then Memory Care and transition to end of life care.

No! We proudly offer our Memory Loss & Dementia Navigation consultations virtually or by phone across the United States and beyond!
A large number of our clients are a part of the "sandwich generation" - adult children caring for their own children and either caring for their aging parents directly or navigating the care of their aging parents from near or from afar. We also have clients who are spouses and care partners.
Some of our clients are navigating their care partner role while their loved one is still living at home or their loved one may be living in a residential care community. Our clients come to us whether their loved one has recently been diagnosed with a memory loss impairment or whether their loved one is further along in their disease progression. It is never too early or too late to add The Memory Compass to your village of support services.

During the hour, you and your consultant will review responses from your intake form, you will be provided with individualized education and recommendations. Following the session, your consultant will continue working on your individualized Navigation Action Plan that you will receive within 1 week of your initial consultation.
Each client's needs are different, so together with your consultant you will discuss frequency of recommended follow-up consultations. Consultations typically last 60 minutes.

You will never be surprised billed. Frequency and duration of services will be discussed with you at each consultation.
